It is our belief that God placed us in the middle of the Mount Joy community for a purpose. Our central location right on Main Street gives us a unique opportunity to reach out to our neighbors. It is our belief that God placed us in the middle of the Mount Joy community for a purpose. Our central location right on Main Street gives us a unique opportunity to reach out to our neighbors. We do this through intentional outreach events of our own, and also partnering with other community organizations to strengthen their activities. For example, every February we host our own Marriage Enrichment Event and in the summer we invite the community children to our Vacation Bible School event. We also take an active role in community wide events like Mount Joy Fall and Winter Fest events. During the 2023 WinterFest, we hosted a children's petting zoo and other children's activities on our lawn, opened our doors for the Mount Joy Kiwanis to host an indoor Little Shoppers gift shop, and had church volunteers handing out free popcorn, hot chocolate, and other snacks. We've been a part of the Mount Joy community since our founding in 1831 and strive to continue to be an active member of the community through our outreach.
